This app is a drivetest tool that will enable the user who could be any network subscriber or a telecom Engineer to test the network Performance.
The app will enable the user to see the network downloading speed in a geographic area, it will show the results, display the speed values on a map, draw a graph of the results, and send the results by email.
The app can download a file, measure the download speed (data throughput), then it will record for each second while the test is ongoing the data that includes the following:
Date - Time - Longitude - Latitude - download speed (Data Throughput) - Vehicle Speed - & the URL of the downloaded file.
The user will also be able to see the current test results, as well as to see the presented results on the map of the tested area.
The test results could be sent by mail, the email attachments will include the following:
1- CSV file of the test Raw Data that includes:
Date-Time-Speed (data throughput)-vehicle speed, longitude, latitude, & URL of the downloaded file.
2- CSV File of the general Statistics of the test.
3- HTML file of the test raw Data.
4- .KML file that will include the test data that using a legend of the user choice.
5- Picture in PNG format that has a snapshot of the test that shows the performance in the tested area.
6- Picture in PNG format of the currently chosen legend in settings.
The user will be also able to see the results and statistics from within the app on the map or as raw data.
- To represent the data on the map the user can use the default legend or can define his own custom legend, colors and ranges.
- The app has the option that user can define a group of email addresses to send results to this group.
- The user will be able to put the URL of any file from any website to test download speed (Data Throughput).
-This app could also used between the subscriber and the operator in case there was a subscriber that was having difficulties, he can make a test and send the results to the operator personnel. This will speed up the process of analyzing the problem which could be solved much faster.
